Egypt Trip Guide is a travel guide, not a data business. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you contact us and how we use it.

What we collect

We only collect the details you choose to send us through one of our forms:

  • Contact form. Your name, email address and your message (and, optionally, your nationality and approximate travel date).
  • Planning form. The details you enter to describe the trip you want, such as your name, email, travel dates, number of travellers, interests and budget.
  • Newsletter signup. Just your email address.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not request sensitive personal information.

Why we collect it

We use the information for one purpose: to respond to you. Contact and planning submissions are used to reply to your enquiry and to help shape the trip advice or itinerary you have asked for. Newsletter signups are used to send occasional travel updates if and when our newsletter is active, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How your data is handled

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. To run the site and receive your messages we rely on trusted third-party cloud services for website hosting and email delivery, and those providers may process a submission so it can reach us and so we can reply. They act on our behalf, not for their own marketing.

If your enquiry is best handled with hands-on planning help, we may pass the relevant details to a local Egypt travel planning partner so they can assist you, only to answer your request, never for resale.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete the details you have submitted at any time. Email hello@egypttripguide.com and we will remove the message and contact information we hold for you. You can also reply to any newsletter to unsubscribe.

What personal data does Egypt Trip Guide collect?

No. We never sell your information. We only use it to reply to your enquiry or planning request. The cloud services that host the site and deliver our email may process a submission so we can receive and respond to it, but they do not use it for their own marketing.

Email hello@egypttripguide.com and ask us to delete your details. We will remove the message and contact information we hold for you.
